Tom, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended Dartmouth College, in New Hampshire. He was the signal caller (quarterback) for the football team, and graduated with a degree in Geography and Urban Studies. He then went on to complete his MBA from DePaul University, in Chicago, Illinois. Tom’s expert-level knowledge in the finance, insurance and employee benefits markets, comes from decades of experience; most recently as the Associate Commissioner, for the Maryland Insurance Administration, as well as the Chief Analyst for Compliance and Enforcement, for the State of Maryland. He and his wife enjoy traveling and having adventures with their three children and seven grandchildren.
Fun fact: Tom’s father was a Battalion Chief in the fire service and his uncle, Charley Marshall, played Tight-end for one of the original NFL teams, the Staten Island Stapletons.
